JSW Steel is seeking to hire an experienced Security Officer to join our team!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to prevent incidents and respond effectively to emergencies.
Responsibilities:
· Patrol the facility and perimeter.
· Meet, assist and direct, visitors, contractors, vendors and other entities upon arriving at the facility.
· Monitor and verify visitors, contractors and JSW personnel entering and leaving the facility.
· Monitor surveillance cameras.
· Prepare accurate and timely reports on status and activities.
· Conduct various audits and inspections.
· Participate as an active member of the Emergency Response Team.
· Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
· Assist in expanding and driving a positive culture to Security and Safety.
· Additional duties as identified by Management
Requirements:
· 1 or more years of related work experience.
· Have or be open to obtain First Aid, CPR and AED certified.
· Able to work under varying conditions including weather and hours.
· Capable of remaining calm during high pressure or tense situations with ability to deescalate situations.
· Able to stand, sit and walk for extended durations in various terrains.
· Open to work rotating shift schedule. (Days/Nights)
· Must have a Level 2 Security License or higher
