As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Verification in Cumberland, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a healthcare location, you will help coordinate responses to security-related incidents, monitor alarm and access control systems, communicate with onsite teams and emergency personnel, and document activity using computer-based tools. Your professionalism and customer service will support a welcoming environment while helping to deter incidents. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize calls for service, document incidents, and coordinate the response of on-site personnel to routine, urgent, and critical situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant details to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, activity reports, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare location and perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
