As a Security Officer Unarmed Bicycle Patrol in Cary, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public education location, you will monitor assigned areas by bicycle, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.06 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and school personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, school district policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate school personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, parking areas, entrances, athletic facilities, and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and maintaining a professional presence during school hours and events.
• Document incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
