As a Security Officer in Pleasant Prairie, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset to every shift.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related needs at an industrial chemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, production-adjacent areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points, check credentials, and document visitor and/or vehicle activity in accordance with post instructions and Allied Universal standards.
  • Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and report maintenance, environmental, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
