What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Monitor access control points for personnel, visitors, and vehicles, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report irregularities according to site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and support screening, entry, and exit processes in accordance with location requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
