As a Security Officer Credential Desk in Hialeah, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail-related location where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and associates by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and deliveries, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the perimeter, dock areas, and access points, to help to deter unauthorized entry and support security-related operations.
• Assist with gate operations, badge checks, and traffic flow for incoming and outgoing trucks and personnel, while maintaining accurate logs and reports of daily activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
