As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.36 / Hour

• Proof of HS Diploma/GED: I have obtained my [High School Diploma/GED] and can provide documentation upon request.
• Access Control/Badge Experience: I have hands-on experience managing access control systems and issuing badges, ensuring a secure environment for both staff and visitors.
• Alarm Panel Experience: I am familiar with various alarm panel systems and have successfully responded to alarms and emergencies in previous roles.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet: I am proficient in using computers and tablets for various tasks, including monitoring security systems and maintaining logs.
• CPR Certification: I hold a current CPR certification, which equips me to respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Customer Service Experience: My background in customer service has honed my communication skills and ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping maintain authorized entry and accurate visitor documentation.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant security-related information to site leadership and incoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
