As a Security Officer Dispatch with Active Clearance in Mc Lean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor systems, coordinate responses, and support security-related operations through clear communication and attention to detail. This role combines technology, teamwork, and customer service, giving you the chance to stay engaged while helping address incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and other communication systems to receive reports, document activity, and dispatch personnel to security-related incidents in a timely manner.
- Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while coordinating with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift activity reports, helping to support situational awareness across the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, while supporting control center and dispatch operations in a dynamic technology-focused environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
