As a Security Officer Driver Access Control in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Pay Rate: $22.64 - $23.64 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or vendors at a healthcare front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying identification and appointment information, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access activity, maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of front-desk activity and reporting unusual or concerning activity to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
