What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitor and vendor access, and document arrivals, departures, and other security-related activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, trailer yards, loading areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Help to deter unauthorized access, property loss, and/or operational disruptions by observing activity, reporting concerns, and following established post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
