As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Alarm in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. In this unarmed role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to routine concerns, and support tenants and visitors with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance, lighting, and other security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with visitor direction, and support day-to-day property operations.
- Complete routine reports and activity logs, noting unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or security-related incidents observed during assigned shifts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
