Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, employee spaces, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorized entry where required, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Support orderly operations by observing passenger and visitor activity, providing directions when appropriate, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or operational issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
