As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access awareness with strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout operational areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter boundaries to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support the control of restricted areas in alignment with site policies and security-related procedures.
  • Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy questions, and changing conditions that may impact daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
