As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License:

• All candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is crucial for roles that require driving as part of job responsibilities.

• Candidates are required to provide a copy of their driver's license during the application process.

• EMT Certification:

• Candidates must hold a current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification (C127). This certification is necessary for positions that involve emergency response and medical assistance.

• Proof of certification must be submitted with the application.

• Previous Firefighting Experience:

• Applicants must have documented previous firefighting experience (C129). This experience is vital for ensuring that candidates are adequately prepared for the demands of the role.

• Candidates should provide references or documentation verifying their firefighting experience.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support a secure work environment.
• Monitor and control access to the location by checking credentials, documenting visitor and vehicle activity, and communicating with authorized personnel as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess EMT certification.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess previous firefighting experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
