WE LOVE OUR WORK.:
- When required assist local, state, federal law enforcement agencies and emergency services.
- Monitor guest/employee activity on property to ensure compliance of regulations, as required by all regulatory agencies, i.e., Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program and the Compulsive & Problem Gambling Plan.
- Responsible for following established reporting procedures of incidents.
- Responsible for verifying valid ID of guests to ensure compliance with PGCB underage requirements.
- Provide security and protection for guests and company assets.
- Transact monetary exchanges in compliance with established regulations.
- Maintain surveillance of the casino cage and surrounding area.
- Replace pit boxes on gaming tables after the count.
- Ensure employees comply with approved promulgated policies and procedures.
- Administer first aid and CPR within acquired training and ability
- Author medical reports
- Report unsafe conditions to the appropriate authority.
- Respond to disturbances on property.
- Observe and react to individuals suspected of illegal activity.
- Perform as control podium officer when assigned.
- Respond to emergency alarms.
- Author written reports regarding security incidents.
- Provide security escort services to employees and guests as required.
- Direct traffic and control parking when required.
- Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program and the Compulsive & Problem Gambling Plan.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
- Be able to perform all other duties assigned to you during your shift.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Read, write and effectively communicate in English.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills to both internal & external customers; positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to write necessary reports using standard computer programs.
- Acquire a working knowledge of policies, procedures, federal & state laws, and gaming control board regulations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe working environment for guests and employees.
- Maintain required licensure and certification; PGCB credential, EMT certification, driver’s license and proof of insurability.
- Maintain current required trainings, (dept specific in addition to Comp/Problem Gambling, Tips, Harassment, etc.)
- Critical thinking skills; ability to demonstrate sound judgment and good decision making skills.
- Must meet one of the following criteria:
- Certification as an EMT
- Certification as a Paramedic
