As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Desk in Malvern, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Greet employees, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner, verify identification and/or access credentials, and help to support visitor management and entry procedures.
• Monitor lobby and reception areas for unusual activity, answer questions, direct foot traffic, and report security-related concerns, incidents, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Support access control and front desk operations by maintaining logs, issuing temporary badges or passes when authorized, and following confidentiality expectations common to a professional office setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
