As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Mangonia Park, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

How This Role Works:
- Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
- Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require a security-related response.
- Monitor high-traffic and sensitive areas such as lobbies, waiting areas, corridors, and parking locations to help support orderly operations and report concerns according to site procedures.
- Assist with security-related support during visitor interactions, after-hours activity, and/or emergency situations while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Hospital vaccines are required.
- Experience working in a hospital morgue is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
