Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen people, packages, and/or personal belongings entering and exiting the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor information, and/or shipment-related documentation to help support authorized entry and movement throughout the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
