Security Officer - Entry Control Driver

As a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Monmouth, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access procedures, checking credentials, and documenting entries and exits at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access, verify visitor and/or contractor authorization, and report irregular activity or policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, applying post orders and emergency response procedures appropriate to the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones, noting unusual conditions and completing required activity reports.
• Support security-related operations by managing visitor logs, screening deliveries and/or shipments as directed, and communicating clearly with site personnel regarding access questions and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
