As a Security Officer Experienced Rover in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive manufacturing location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support site personnel and visitors, and help to deter security-related incidents through a strong visible presence. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and emergency response activities within an automotive manufacturing location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking lots, shipping and receiving zones, warehouses, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support authorized access procedures for personnel, deliveries, and vendors.
- Support order at the location by communicating professionally with staff and guests, following post orders, and completing required logs, reports, and other assigned security-related duties.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
