As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will engage professionally with employees and visitors, provide clear communication and exceptional customer service, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $26.79 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, law enforcement, and emergency responders when required, following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
