As a Front Desk Professional in a healthcare location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping to support a professional environment through visitor check-in, badge and access support, and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, patients, staff, and vendors, following site-specific procedures, and assisting with badge, sign-in, and visitor access activities.
  • Monitor lobby and reception area activity, verify identification and appointments as required, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence and security-related procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and support a professional arrival experience while documenting visitor information, deliveries, and security-related events according to location policies.
  • Complete routine reports, logs, and other required documentation, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns observed at the front desk and nearby entrance areas.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
