As a Security Officer Full Time Access Systems Operator in Lenexa, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and support a welcoming, controlled environment for employees and visitors. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and driver entry procedures, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, business grounds, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site operations.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, site leadership, and Allied Universal personnel while preparing clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and access-related activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
