As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Deterrence Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and support a professional atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including lobby areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized entry, while helping to maintain orderly access control practices for employees, visitors, and/or contractors.
• Support cash-handling and other sensitive operational areas through visible presence, adherence to post orders, and timely communication regarding suspicious behavior and/or unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience or a degree in criminal justice.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
