As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Reader Driver in Buford, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor alarms, and document security-related activity. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points for vehicles, trailers, personnel, and visitors; verify credentials and maintain required access records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, visitor activity, and unusual conditions in clear, accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
