As a Security Officer - Full Time Bike Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine bicycle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access control, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This active role offers the opportunity to work with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.70 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
