Security Officer Full Time Credentialing Services

As a Security Officer Full Time Credentialing Services in Rye, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a residential setting, you will help maintain a welcoming, security-related environment by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and responding to access concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally with residents and visitors, and support daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and reliable service with Allied Universal.

Pay Rate: $17.68 - $18.68 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the residential location by verifying visitor authorization, checking credentials, maintaining entry records, and directing guests according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, entrances, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for access activity, incidents, patrols, and security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
