Security Officer Full Time Field Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Field Patrol in Lenoir, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting actions taken.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence in a high-availability technology environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
