Security Officer Full Time Foot Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Foot Patrol in Stuart, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Professional at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-area perimeters, parking areas, gates, and access points to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel when required.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other security-related documentation while communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
