As a Security Officer Full Time Incident Prevention Patrol in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and assist guests, employees, and visitors with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel public areas, guest corridors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a welcoming guest experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
