Description:

Job Title: Security Officer

Employment Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Shift: Days, 7:30am to 4:00pm

Location: St. Mary Medical Center

Position Purpose

  • The Security Officer is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients/families, visitors, and property.

As a Security Officer you will:

  • Be responsible for fire prevention and initial response measures.

  • Maintains safety practices in the area of his/her assignment.

  • Have oversight of the SOC (Security Operations Center)

  • Handle Duties associated with the Operation of Metal Detector and Wanding

  • Other Duties as directed by the supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS graduate or equivalent required

  • 1-year previous security experience required

  • 1 year of hospital-based experience highly preferred.

  • Valid driver's license required.

  • Clean Driving Record Required

  • Fingerprints and Child Abuse Clearance once hired.
