As a Security Officer Full Time Access Verification Patrol in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Allied Universal unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and communicate concerns promptly. You will also provide welcoming customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the commercial property, including common areas, parking facilities, building exteriors, and perimeter locations
• Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, property damage, and maintenance concerns, and promptly document and report observations
• Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with property management and/or emergency personnel when appropriate

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
