As a Security Officer - Full Time - Mornings in Waterloo, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access awareness, and provide strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and site personnel by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to Allied Universal and location guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, contractors, deliveries, and vehicles, and verify credentials and/or permissions in line with location requirements.
• Support order at the location by documenting incidents, communicating with supervisors and/or site contacts, and assisting with traffic, shipping, and receiving activity as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
