As a Security Officer Full Time Overnight in South Hackensack, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, verify badges and credentials, monitor entry points, and support security-related operations with professionalism and great communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and staff by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process authorized access, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or other access-related activity in accordance with post procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including access points, shipping and receiving areas, trailer lots, and perimeter areas, while helping to deter unauthorized activity and reporting security-related concerns.
• Complete required logs, reports, and incident documentation, and support ongoing security-related operations by observing site conditions and relaying relevant information to management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
