As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Customer Care in Whitsett, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Use your customer service and communication skills, along with computer or tablet tools, to document activity and respond to security-related needs. Pay Rate: $16.48 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and reporting access concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency protocols and contacting first responders when appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicating relevant security-related information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
