As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in York, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as food processing/distribution plants, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food processing/distribution plant, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document security-related activities while representing Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.55 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail coffee shop location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the store, surrounding exterior areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report unusual conditions or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and communications with site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
