As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Security in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, maintain a professional presence, and support security-related procedures. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents and contributing to a positive environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location by greeting visitors, answering questions, and directing guests appropriately.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and following site-specific entry procedures.
• Respond to security-related incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific policies.
• Support emergency response activities by communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel and following established procedures.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and security-related issues to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
