As a Security Officer Full Time in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol a dynamic hotel or resort location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to guest and staff needs. Through clear communication, attentive observation, and exceptional customer service, you will help create a welcoming environment while demonstrating integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $19.80 / Hour

Must be able to walk & stand for long periods of time

What You'll Do:

• Provide courteous customer service to guests, visitors, employees, and event attendees while carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, event spaces, back-of-house areas, parking areas, entrances, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and prohibited activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical calls, alarms, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including appropriate emergency response activities.
• Document patrol findings and incidents, and promptly report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to designated personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
