Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through attentive access management, strong communication, and dependable service while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, screen visitors, and/or document deliveries and contractor activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or potential security-related issues.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and access records, and communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
