Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, reporting findings according to site guidelines.
• Support store closing and opening routines, assist with crowd and line monitoring during busy periods, and provide visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
