As a Security Officer Guest Checkpoint Specialist in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a front desk location within a financial institution, where you will help create a welcoming presence while supporting access control, badge verification, and professional communication with visitors and staff. In this stationary role, you will monitor activity, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver service with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach in a reliable and innovative environment.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Monitor front desk activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or credentials, and direct guests, employees, and vendors according to site access procedures.
• Answer phones, manage visitor logs, issue badges and/or access materials, and support a professional front desk presence throughout the shift.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry points, monitoring lobby activity, and communicating security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
