As a Security Officer Guest Services Desk in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, monitoring access activity, and/or directing visitors, employees, and vendors within a technology-focused location.
- Support visitor management by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing access credentials, and maintaining front desk logs in line with site protocols.
- Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership when appropriate.
- Monitor entrances, lobby areas, cameras, and communication systems to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns according to post instructions.
- Assist with administrative and security-related front desk duties such as answering phones, documenting daily activity, receiving deliveries, and coordinating with building staff and/or client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
- Have customer service experience, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
