Security Officer - Highrise Patrol

As a Security Officer Site Patrol in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, monitoring for security-related concerns, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, exits, storefront corridors, and perimeter areas, helping to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, assist with crowd and/or line management, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards to the appropriate contact.
• Support closing and opening procedures as assigned, complete routine reports, and provide visible presence throughout the location to help promote a professional environment for customers and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
