Provides a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Responds to all incidents occurring on hospital campus
- Conducts patrols on foot and in vehicles
- Responds to emergencies
- Provides Public Safety services to patients, visitors, and staff
- Enforces medical center rules and regulations
- Identifies and reports safety hazards and conditions
- Prepares incident reports and related written communications
Requirements:
- High school diploma and a minimum of one year of security-related experience, OR completion of a Criminal Justice program at an accredited school
- Current and valid Mass. drivers license with an excellent driving record
- Must have or be able to obtain CPRAED certification within 90 days of hire
- Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Defensive tactics
- Reserve Intermittent Police Academy training
- CPR certification
