As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and others by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Document incidents, observations, and policy-related concerns accurately and promptly, escalating matters to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be willing to receive required vaccinations for hospital settings.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
