As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Specialist in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a prestigious educational location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site leadership and/or public assistance partners as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help support authorized entry, protect property, and/or assist with directions and general assistance requests.
• Document incidents, daily activities, and/or policy concerns in required reports while following Allied Universal standards and location expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
