Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to control access, observe visitor activity, and/or report security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in accordance with site expectations and Allied Universal reporting practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital-required vaccines are required.
• Ability to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue is required.
• Ability to restrain individuals is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
