POSITION: Security Officer DUTIES: - Protects life and property of all persons on facility premises and patrols facility buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft and vandalism. - Secures, unlocks and protects facility buildings. - Responds to security needs of facility personnel. - Provides a visible deterrence to crime and prohibited activities by patrolling the buildings and grounds of the facility. - Responds quickly and effectively to emergent and non-emergent situations. - Ensures that only authorized persons are admitted onto facility premises. - Escorts visitors, patients and personnel to and from parking areas, if requested. - Writes accurate, clear and legible incident reports and documents investigatory steps and results. - Assists and gives courteous responses to any inquiries made by patients, visitors and personnel. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent WAGE: $15.00-$21.14/hour SHIFTS: Full Time, 24/7 Facility, schedule and shifts will vary.
