Position Summary
As the Security Officer, you will be asked to performa wide range of complex duties to ensure the safety and security of the hospital and its patients, employees, physicians, visitors and others, as well as the property of same. All responsibilities are performed in strict accordance with hospital and / or department policies at all times.
Education and Experience
Required:
- HighSchoolDiploma or equivalent
- Oneyear experience in the field of Hospital Security, Security, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- AbilitytocommunicateeffectivelyinEnglish,bothverbally and in writing.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Within6monthsofdateofhire,mustcompleteandbecome certified in Workplace Violence Prevention AVADE courses Levels I, II and III.
