Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Hospitality Services Director the Security Lead performs a variety of routine to skilled functions related to the physical security of the building and grounds, as well as the safety and security of staff, visitors and patients. The Security Lead is a working lead position that must provide day-to-day operational support and support to the employees of the Hospitality Services Department. Additional responsibilities include:
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
· Inspects facility for proper security and working conditions, maintains routine records and determines type and extent of malfunction of equipment
· Maintains review of Security Logs and provides updates to Hospitality Services Director for monthly review through the EOC Committee, and WPV advocate.
· Actively participates in the Environment of Care program with direction of Hospitality Services Director.
· Ensure department utilizes and completes rounding forms.
· Schedules routine training and education for all security officers and maintains documentation.
· Reviews completed Security documentation, records and reports as required by the hospital’s EOC Committee.
· Maintain bi-weekly department work schedule
· Reports more serious problems to Director of Hospitality for further instructions
· Assumes responsibility for personal and professional growth through participation in department meetings, in-service programs and continuing education programs.
· Maintains a professional attitude with patients, visitors and other hospital personnel while assuring confidentiality of patient and other hospital information.
· Position may require weekend, holiday and non-standard work hours.
· Work a flex schedule and be available for overtime call-back for emergencies.
Performs other related duties as assigned and requested.

Qualifications:
· High school, technical or electrical trade school graduate
· 1 years’ experience in hospital preferred.
· General knowledge hospital processes.
